Where To Celebrate Mardi Gras In NYC

Mardi Gras aka "Fat Tuesday" is upon us and we are ready to take this carnival celebration to NYC. Here are a few places to go today for Mardi Gras deals that will help you celebrate before Ash Wednesday.

Tailfeather in Bed-Stuy

This bar is celebrating Mardi Gras with tarot readings and poets for hire. They will be serving king cake served with ice wine from none other that the Snake River Valley in Idaho. This all is happening tonight, March 5th from 7pm-11pm.

La Cafette in Williamsburg

This eatery is celebrating it's first year in the Brooklyn scene with a Mardi Gras party featuring live jazz music, Mardi Gras decor and Cajun inspired foods like oysters on the half shell ($1), chicken cajun sliders ($7), beef gumbo ($7), cajun croquettes de mahi-mahi ($7) and apple beignets ($5).

Bubby's In TriBeca

Your favorite TriBeca eating spot is celebrating Mardi Brad with STACKS of pancakes with hidden king cake babies inside.... Whoever finds one gets their plate for free from March 1st - March 5th. The menu will also feature a muffuletta sandwich with cold cuts from Di Palos and an oyster, shrimp and chicken gumbo.

Boris & Horton in East Village

This dog-friendly cafe is hosting the perfect pawty for you and your pet for Mardi Gras. Head to this event from 7 to 9pm with live music, Abita Beer from Luisiana and a king cake from Paul's Pastry PLUS treats for your pup and a photo booth! Tickets are $20.

LIC Bar in Long Island City

This is LIC's second annual Mardi Gras party from 7 to 11pm Tuesday March 5th. There will be performances by Linden St. Connection, Felix Slim and Mon'Quez Pippins andking cake's from Bakes by Jason from "The Great American Baking Show."
