WALK THE MOON Premieres Acoustic Version Of Song 'Timebomb'

iHeartRadio ALTer Ego 2018 - Red Carpet

WALK THE MOON is taking their song Timebomb and creating a whole new sound with it. The original song that got released in January 2019 is being stripped down, giving listeners a real feel of the love song.

"'Timebomb' is a song about falling in love! It’s dangerous business. Risky but probably worth it," says WALK THE MOON about the new release of an acoustic version, "We got the chance to strip down the song and perform it acoustic in vevo’s beautiful white studio."

The song's lyrics are most impressive when completely stripped. It leaves the group in a very vulnerable place. The bridge, "Afraid to light the fuse again; start a fire, lose a friend, But when your heart opens it’s like I’m ready to fall again," hits you hard with just the acoustics... It's just amazing and so powerful!

This release comes only one month after the band celebrated some major milestones on older releases. On April 10th, the rock band revealed their third album Talking is Hard, went Platinum - meaning it's sold the equivalent of an incredible 1 million units and their 2017 single One Foot, has gone Gold - meaning it's sold of an impressive 500,000 units.
