Kanye West's Sunday Service Puts Gospel Spin On Travis Scott's 'Sicko Mode'

Kanye West's latest Sunday Service touched down in Watts, California and saw the hip-hop titan's band and choir cover Travis Scott's "Sicko Mode" with a heavenly twist.

In footage from the event via Kim Kardashian's social media, the rapper's ensemble could be seen putting a gospel spin on the 2018 hit, which features Drake and Rae Sremmurd's Swae Lee, by altering the bars to praise Jesus. Now, West wasn't singing the rendition himself, but the rapper could be seen jumping and down in a green sweatshirt and sunglasses. "Sicko Mode" is a particularly interesting cut to select, especially given the rapper's claim that Drizzy dissed him on the track, but it seemed like nothing but positivity went down during the performance at the service. Special guest Brad Pitt was also in attendance of the event.

Previous to the weekend affair, the Sunday Service band and choir covered Nirvana's "Come As You Are" and "Smells Like Teen Spirit," as well as No Doubt's "Don't Speak."

Meanwhile, West will pair faith and music once again when he drops his new album, Jesus Is King, on September 27. The 12-song set, which was announced by Kardashian last week, includes titles like "Garden," "Gold Is," Wake The Dead" and "Sweet Jesus."
