ASAP Rocky's Swedish Lawyer 'Shot In The Head And Chest'

A$AP Rocky's Swedish lawyer representing the rapper in his long-running legal battle was "shot in the head and chest" on Friday (September 6), as per Swedish newspaper Expressen.

According the report, Henrik Olssen Lilja called the authorities himself, with emergency services responding to the call at 8:59 local time. He was transported to a hospital in an ambulance. His current condition is currently unknown. Witnesses revealed that they saw an individual wrestle the lawyer in a stairwell in central Stockholm, before he was shot and given a neighbor's phone to contact authorities. While the police have identified the shooter as a man, they are investigating the case as an "isolated incident" and have arrested "several people" for questioning. One of the individuals includes a woman, who is also a senior lawyer. She was also reportedly banned from contacting the victim.

"The police have arrested several people for questioning. The investigation is at an intense stage and the police are working on several different fronts to make progress," the Swedish Police Authority wrote of the shooting on its website.

As you know, A$AP Rocky was convicted of assault in the Swedish capital for a street fight with a 19-year-old man. Lilja gained even more recognition after he signed on to represent the rapper in the controversial case. In mid-August, it was announced that Rocky had been found guilty on misdemeanor assault charges for the case. "I AM OF COURSE DISAPPOINTED BY TODAY’S VERDICT. I WANT TO SAY THANKS AGAIN TO ALL OF MY FANS, FRIENDS, AND EVERYONE WHO SHOWED ME LOVE DURING THIS DIFFICULT TIME. IMMA KEEP MOVING FORWARD," he captioned an Instagram photo of him drinking out of a tea cup. "THANK YOU TO MY TEAM, MY MANAGEMENT, ATTORNEYS, LABEL AND EVERYONE WHO ADVOCATED FOR JUSTICE. 🙏🏿"
