Julia Michaels’ vulnerable debut single, “Issues” nominated for Song Of The Year at the 60th GRAMMY Awards along with a nomination for Best New Artist. The 25-year-old began her career as a songwriter for big names such as Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, and Justin Bieber before starting a solo career.
In the latest installment of the Recording Academy’s Grammy ReImagined, a video series where artists tackle on GRAMMY nominated/winning songs by their favorite artists, pop artist VINCINT delivered a soulful rendition of hit song “Issues” by Michaels. VINCINT released his debut EP,Please Don’t Fall In Love, earlier this year and is definitely an artist to watch. So far on Grammy ReImagined, we’ve seen COSTACITY cover Childish Gambino’s “Redbone, “ Angela Aguilar cover Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s “Shallow, Shaun Ross cover Cher’s “Believe,” Neil Young’s “Harvest Moon” covered by Andrew Bird, and on November 12 Shea Diamond will be covering “Thinking Out Loud” by Ed Sheeran. The 62nd Annual GRAMMY Awards will be held on January 26, 2020 at 8:00pm EST.
Nominations for the 62nd GRAMMY Awards have yet to be announced but you can expect to see the nominees on November 20th.
