Beyonce Pens Heartfelt Letter To Fans After Ivy Park Collab Sells Out

Beyoncé is beyond grateful for her Beyhive!

The legendary entertainer's fans nearly broke the Internet to support their Queen's first adidas x IVY PARK drop on Friday (January 17). Not only did the collection sell out with six minutes of its arrival on Adidas' website, but thousands also showed up at adidas stores around the world to get their hands on Bey's highly coveted designs over the weekend.

"I want to say a huge thank you to all of the incredible human beings who stood in those long lines in the snow and rain," she wrote on Instagram Monday (January 20). "All the beautiful people who waited in the waiting room online. All of the friends and family who took the time to film videos and dress up in the unboxing. I am humbled, grateful and proud. Y’all look so good in your IVY PARK. I love you deep. B."

Alongside her heartfelt thank you, Bey shared a video of herself dancing in various pieces from the collection as Run D.M.C.'s "My Adidas" played in the background. She also appeared to hint that the capsule collection was the first of many, as the words "Drop 1" came across the screen at the end of the clip.

As fans know, Bey's adidas x IVY PARK collection marks the relaunch of her four-year-old Ivy Park brand. In April 2019, Queen Bey joined the short list of esteemed entertainers — Pharrell and Kanye West — to partner with the sports brand as she announced their multi-layered deal.

"It is a dream come true to re-launch IVY PARK as the sole owner," Beyoncé said in a press release. "My team has worked hard with the adidas team in bringing my vision to life for this first collection and I am grateful and proud. From the accessories to the clothes and footwear, I wanted to design and re-imagine pieces that serve as favorite armor for anyone who acknowledges the strength in their individual style and lives freely and boldly."

Adidas promised a "partnership [that] respects Beyoncé’s ownership of her company, which continues her journey as one of the first black women to be the sole owner of an athleisure brand. [
] Neither ascribes to the typical stereotypes of athletes and what athleisure clothing and footwear should be, and instead, will bring to life a shared vision of inclusion that will forever alter the opportunities and landscape for all."
