'Bachelorette' Contestant Hospitalized In ICU For Possible Overdose

**Update Tyler Gwozdz has passed away at 29 years old, January 23rd. More details here.

Past ‘Bachelorette’ contestant Tyler Gwozdz, who competed for Hannah Brown’s heart on season 15, was hospitalized in the ICU following a suspected overdose last week in Florida.

Tyler remained in the hospital for a week and was listed as in critical, but stable condition. This came after Boca Ration officers and paramedics rushed to a home on Monday, January 13th while responding to a 911 call for a possible drug overdose. Tyler was then transported to a hospital and admitted to the ICU.

According to the 911 call, a woman told dispatchers it might have been a heroin overdose and that Tyler had locked himself in a bathroom. Eventually the woman did break into the bathroom and turned Tyler on his back before an ambulance arrived.

As of Tuesday, Tyler was no longer listed as a current patient in the hospital’s system.

Tyler’s time on season 15 of the ‘Bachelorette’ was short, as he was mysteriously sent home after 3 weeks on the show and a one-on-one date with Hannah. His exit was never actually explained, all Hannah Brown had to say was that he had to leave.

On the ‘Bachelorette,’ Tyler’s profile said he was a sales manager at the time he was cast and he is also an aspiring psychologist.

The apparent overdose has not been confirmed by Tyler himself.
