It’s official: Tove Lo is a married woman.
On Saturday (July 25), the Swedish pop star, 32, took to Instagram Story to announce that she had married her longtime boyfriend Charlie Twaddle. In the selfie, the two were seen showing off their brunette locks, along with their wedding bands. "Oops! @seetwaddle," Lo captioned the post for her 1.8 million followers. As for their decision to rock their jewelry on their right fingers instead of the left, Billboard noted that wedding bands are commonly worn on the right hands in Northern European countries.
Just last year, the star revealed that the two, who met in Los Angeles, weren’t entirely ready to take things to the next step "I guess I've found the person, and he is the same age as me, but I feel we are children ourselves so we just can’t," she told the U.K.‘s Metro.
Still, that very same year, Tove Lo shared her adoration for Twaddle in a sweet birthday post. "No one makes me laugh more than you and I feel so lucky I get to create with you and see the world together," she wrote on Instagram. "I love your massive head and your big smile, and you’re the most generous, loving human (with a hint of weirdness which matches my sprinkle of crazy 😁). You’re my person. Jag älskar dig Charlie I hope you have the best birthday!!.. though I’m sitting next to you waiting on a delayed flight lol ❤️."
