Kanye West is at it again after another jab at Taylor Swift.
On Saturday (August 15), the hip-hop titan, 43, took to Twitter to discuss a number of different topics. However, it was his thoughts on the snake emoji, as well as an image of a reptile at his Wyoming ranch, that prompted many to raise eyebrows. "Not gonna use a snake emoji cause you know why," the rapper wrote in reference to his long-standing feud with the pop titan. "I’m not sure if Christians are allowed to use snake emojis."
Fans know that the snake emoji is synonymous with Swift after Kim Kardashian used the emoji to describe the singer after she denied West's request to refer to her as a "bitch" on his 2016 single, "Famous.” Later on, Swift took the reptile imagery and used it as her mascot of sorts for her reputation album campaign.
“A couple of years ago, someone called me a snake on social media and it caught on,” the singer explained during the opening night of her “reputation Stadium Tour.” “And then a lot of people were calling me a lot of things on social media. And I went through some really low times for a while because of it. I went through some times when I didn’t know if I was going to get to do this anymore.”
Meanwhile, West is reportedly still on a family retreat with Kardashian to recover from the damage of his public tirades. The pair is also with their children, North, 7, Saint, 4, Chicago, 2, and Psalm, 14. Unlike previous trips, this vacation, which is said to be at a fortress-esque estate "virtually impossible for trespassers to get close," is designed to be a photo-free trip. Sources close to TMZ recently revealed that there's been "total radio silence" as to how the vacation is going, but the family intends on remaining on the estate for quite some time.
