How Kim Kardashian & Kanye West's Marriage Issues Will Play Out On 'KUWTK'

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s marital issues will reportedly play out in the final season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

A new report from Page Six suggests the couple’s crumbling marriage will be a major storyline in the last episodes of the E! show's series finale set to broadcast later this year. “The Kardashians intend to go out with a bang,” an insider told the outlet earlier this week. “They’ve filmed Kim discussing her marriage problems. But everybody involved is on a nondisclosure agreement, because the finale won’t screen until later in 2021.”

As yet, it’s unclear how much involvement West will have in the show’s final season. “He understands Kim’s side has to spin that she is sick of him,” a source told the outlet. “In reality, he’s been sick of being involved with [the] Kardashians for a long while. Especially her mother [Kris Jenner], who looms large in all big decisions she makes.”

Page Six was the first outlet to break the story of Kimye’s seemingly imminent divorce, as the lovebirds and parents of four children have allegedly been experiencing ongoing marriage issues behind closed doors.

“They are keeping it low-key but they are done. Kim has hired Laura Wasser and they are in settlement talks,” an insider said at the time of the reality star, who fueled talks of the pair’s impending divorce after appearing on Instagram without her wedding ring.

The insider added, “Kim got Kanye to go up there [Wyoming] so they could live separate lives and quietly get things sorted out to separate and divorce. She’s done.”

For West’s part, it was previously reported that the “Stronger” rapper is “talking to divorce lawyers” about dissolving his marriage to his wife of nearly six years.

Although neither party has spoken publicly to the validity of the divorce speculations, various outlets reported that it was West’s rant during his July 2020 presidential campaign rally that was Kardashian’s “final straw.”
