This New iPhone Feature Will Help You Ignore Your Boss

Say goodbye to late night work emails and texts from the boss! Apple announced a new iPhone feature that will roll out with the new iOS 15 later this year called Focus. The feature will allow users to set preferences around who can contact them during a certain time of day or while they're in a specific location.

While the feature doesn't totally stop your manager or coworkers from contacting you, it does stop the notification from coming through until Focus is turned off. If the person trying to reach you has an iPhone, they'll receive an alert that you have Focus enabled and will have to confirm that they still want to contact you.

The feature is just one of many enhancements around privacy and ease of use to be expected with the new upgrade. Apple hasn't given a specific date for the release, but did say we can expect it sometime this fall.
