Millennials Aren't The Only Ones That Hate Talking On The Phone

If you call me unprompted there are only two thoughts that go through my mind; "oh my god someone is dead," or "oh my god what did I do?" Even if it is a scheduled call, you can find me in the bathroom second guessing all of my life decisions 5 minutes before we chat (cc: my boss). Moral of the story, please don't call me.

The good news is that it looks like more and more generations are adopting the Please Don't Call Me mantra. A new survey shows that not only are younger people opposed to talking on the phone, but one out of three people over the age of 65 say they prefer texts of calls! Many of the seniors said that staying in touch with their grandkids is a big reason for the change.

Great news for people with tech-savvy grandparents, not so great news for people like me whose grandmother calls text messages "chex messages."
