TikTok star, Anthony Barajas, also known as Anthony Michael, has passed away at just 19 years old.
The social teen who had almost a million followers on the TikTok platform has passed away after injuries from a recent movie theater shooting in California. The Corona Police Department confirmed the news and added that there is a murder investigation underway. Barajas passed away Saturday, July 31st. He was only 19-years-old.
"The Corona Police Department has been notified that Anthony Barajas passed away early this morning," the police department stated in a press release. "We extend our thoughts and condolences to his family and friends."
Tuesday, July 27th an arrest was made for Joseph Jimenez, 20, for his involvement in the movie theater shooting in Corona, California. In Saturday's statement, authorities said they are "working with the Riverside County District Attorney's Office to add an additional count of first-degree murder against Joseph Jimenez."
The shooting occurred Monday, July 26th at the Crossings Shopping Center where Anthony and Rylee Goodrich, 18, went to see Forever Purge together at 9:35pm. Police have confirmed that Rylee died on the scene.
Police previously stated, "Based on statements obtained, there is no known motive and it appears to be an unprovoked attack."
