Eleven-year-old Jessica Thompson from Wilshire, England has been eating one thing and one thing only since she was 18 months old...chicken nuggets.
While this seems like icon behavior, it's actually a form of disordered eating that she suffers from called avoidant restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID).
Jessica has finally broken her almost ten year long streak of nuggets after working with a therapist who has helped other children with similar disorders.
Her mother said, “It’s nothing short of a miracle that Jessica can eat a full plate of food now. We hadn’t eaten a meal together as a family for years, and now we can.”
