After returning to our screens from a COVID hiatus in Fall of 2021, Survivor 42 is on the way this Spring. CBS shoots the competition show in pairs, two seasons per Summer, airing them later in the year.
Season 41 presented a revamped iteration of the show -- keeping contestants in the wilderness for only 26 days instead fo 39, adding additional advantages and idols to gameplay, and it was the first season where CBS's new diversity and inclusion policy was in place. A policy that requires the cast on competition shows to be at least 50% people of color.
