Really? As if New Yorkers really needed more reasons to hate the subway system!

An Instagram account by the name of Subway Creatures shared a video of what appears to be bedbugs crawling all over some empty seats on a New York City D-line train.

Great! Now we have another layer of things to worry about when we take the train and that’s cleaning down our seats and making sure bedbugs don’t attach and head home with us.

If for some reason bedbugs were to make it into your home below are some tips on how to get rid of these creepy critters:

Wash bedding and clothes in hot water for 30 minutes. Then put them in a dryer on the highest heat setting for 30 minutes. Use a steamer on mattresses, couches, and other places where bedbugs hide. Pack up infested items in black bags and leave them outside on a hot day that reaches 95°F (35°C) or in a closed car.
