There is a slipper thief in Brooklyn who tried to steal 36 pairs of slippers from a Gravesend discount store.
The slipper thief grabbed a box packed with slippers outside the J + L 99 cent store on Stillwell Avenue near Bay 49th Street around 1:50 p.m. A 32-year-old worker ran after him, but he shoved her to the ground, throwing the slippers on her before running off empty handed. The 32-year-old worker had minor injuries according to the NYPD.
The suspect is described as having a large build, black hair and facial hair. For more information Pix 11.
