Cyclist Killed After Crashing Into Pole On The Upper East Side, Manhattan

A bicyclist crashed into a pole on the Upper East Side, Manhattan early on Monday, via Pix 11.

The person on the bike was riding near East 89th street and Second Avenue at 2 a.m. when they slammed into a pole after losing control of their bike. The police say the cyclist had a severe head injury and was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Authorities are not saying anything to identify the person including their age and sex.
