Inflation is now coming after our bacon egg and cheese!

NYC's classic bodegas are all around the city. They are best known for inexpensive goods and the classic BEC aka a bacon egg and cheese. According to AP News, inflation has finally hit bodegas around the city. Bodega owner, Francisco Marte in the Bronx says that he had to almost double the cost of his BEC from $2.50 to $4.50! “Bacon, egg and cheese — you can’t take that sandwich away,” he said. “That’s the favorite sandwich for New Yorkers.”
