Half of LANY's bandname is a reference to New York City, so the Big Apple has a special place in the duo's history, as well as its future.
Speaking backstage at Z100 JingleBall All Access, Paul Jason Klein pointed out that the band has a big tour in the works for next year with multiple headlining shows in New York to support their latest album, A Beautiful Blur.
While Paul and bandmate Jake Clifford Gross were always behind their music, they waffled on the album artwork and title until the last minute.
"Not many bands change the album title and album cover like four weeks before it drops," says Paul. "It was super inconvenient, let me tell you. It's been really hard on our team, but they're the best and they're aligned and along for the ride. Even now, as time goes on, I'm so happy that we changed the title. It's really cool to see it take form."
