Kourtney Kardashian is sharing more about the "terrifying" ordeal of undergoing emergency fetal surgery while pregnant with baby Rocky last year.

During the season 5 premiere of The Kardashians that aired on Thursday (May 23), the Poosh founder, who welcomed her son with husband Travis Barker in November, detailed what led to her "stressful" ordeal and what happened after she had emergency fetal surgery in September when a doctor noticed something "super rare" during a scan, per E! News.

"We had planned a scan at home, so that all the kids could see the baby," she said. "The doctor who will come to the house to do the scan is a high-risk doctor, who's really detailed and thorough at looking for everything. And something caught his eye where he wanted me to see a couple specialists."

After seeing the specialists, Kardashian was told she needed to have an operation the next morning. Barker was on tour in Europe with his band blink-182 at the time so she had her mother, Kris Jenner take her to the hospital during the "terrifying" situation as Barker rushed back to be by her side.

"The thing that was awful was his WiFi was broken on the plane," Kardashian recalled. "I was sending him updates and my mom was sending him updates. He couldn't get anything and he kept checking, like every two hours on the plane, 'Can you reset the WiFi?'"

Kardashian had already had the procedure by the time Barker's plane landed as doctors "had to do it right away," but he was with her as they dealt with the "trauma" of it together.

Though she kept the medical details private, choosing not to reveal what made the doctor concerned, the 45 year old clarified that it had nothing to do with her age or anything she did.

"The timing of it was miraculous. That saved everything," she said of the scan. "My doctor's like, 'There's nothing that you did wrong. It's not age-related. It's just a super rare thing that happened."

She added, "I just feel so grateful that how everything played out and for the doctors that really helped make the best decisions that really saved our baby. After this happened, I was like, 'God's got this. We're good. This is a miracle and we're just going to be super positive.'"
