Taraji P. Henson tapped into her inner Kung Fu Kenny on stage, and the results were priceless.

The esteemed actress and host of the BET Awards 2024 made her grand entrance on Sunday night, June 30, with "Not Like Us (Taraji's Version)." She came out on stage wearing a red hoodie and blue jeans — just like Kendrick Lamar did when he performed his Drake diss track for the first time at The Forum on Juneteenth. Henson busted out a crip walk and remixed the song with fresh bars about payment equality.

"Don't even get me started on nepotism/Sometimes you gotta pop out and show numbers," Henson raps.

Henson popped out with the parody right after Megan Thee Stallion opened the awards show with a medley of hits from her new album MEGAN. She emerged from an egg and performed "Hiss" followed by her other recent single "BOA." She brought all the "Hot Girl Summer Tour" vibes to the stage during her rendition of "Where Them Girls At," which she performed for the first time live.

Taraji P Henson's performance was one of numerous incredible sets fans witnessed at the BET Awards. This year's event also features rare performances from Ms. Lauryn Hill and her son YG Marley, Ice Spice, Tyla, Tanner Adell, GloRilla, Latto and more.
