Sometimes, you simply cannot hold it.
Elton John was shopping in France with his two sons on Monday (July 8) afternoon when he couldn't resist the urge to urinate any longer. The world-renowned hitmaker asked accompanying security for a plastic bottle to pee in, and allegedly proceeded to relive himself inside a shoe store in Nice. According to TMZ, store owner Ryan Sukkar was both shocked and furious. At first, he had no idea that the customer reliving himself inside his shop was Elton John.
What's more, the 77-year-old artist was only a "few steps away" from other customers when he peed in the bottle. In John's defense, he did ask for a restroom before taking matters into his own hands, and was told that there was not a public toilet nearby.
Sukkar, not extremely thrilled with what took place in his shop, inquired what John did for a living, to which the legend bluntly replied: "I'm Elton John." After a speedy Google search, the store owner was sure to get a picture with the standout before he left the shop.
The GRAMMY-winning icon might have left the store with an empty bladder, but he did not exit empty-handed! He ended up purchasing two pairs of shoes for sons Zachary, 13, and Elijah, 11.
Information regarding what happened to the pee-filled bottle was not revealed amid Elton John's successful shopping day with he and husband David Furnish's children along the French Rivera.
