Kylie Jenner is opening up more about becoming a mom at a young age, specifically details the "shocking" changes she experienced while being pregnant at 19.
In a new cover story with Elle for the November issue, the 27-year-old Kylie Cosmetics founder detailed more about her first pregnancy, such as the new changes her body went through prior to giving birth to her daughter Stormi, per People. In addition to Stormi, now 6, Jenner shares 2-year-old son Aire with ex Travis Scott.
"I got pregnant when I was 19. Having a baby really young was more shocking, maybe, because I saw these changes happening to my body — all these new stretch marks and things that I didn't have before," she said.
The Kardashians star also revealed that she experienced postpartum depression following Stormi's birth, admitting that she "felt like I was on autopilot" but was able to get through it with the help of her family and friends. After welcoming two children at a young age, Jenner spent her twenties focused on being a mom and going through her own personal journey.
"The first part of my twenties was having children, learning what my personal style was and then losing it — not knowing how to dress, gaining 60 pounds for both pregnancies," she said. The trials and tribulations throughout the past decade and led her to feeling more confident than ever before. "It took me a year to feel like myself again. At 27, I feel more confident and more like myself than ever."
