New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers was taken into the blue medical tent to be evaluated for an injury during Sunday's (November 10) Week 10 road game against the Arizona Cardinals.
Rodgers went into the tent with 10:33 remaining in the third quarter during the Cardinals' offensive possession, which resulted in a touchdown, extending their lead to 31-6. The four-time NFL MVP returned on the Jets' ensuing possession and after "undergoing a mandatory check for a head injury," but was cleared to return, CBS Sports sideline reporter Aditi Kinkhabwala reported as Rodgers jogged onto the field.
Rodgers has already been sacked three times during Sunday's game, which included once by safety Budda Baker on the ensuing drive after he returned from the medical tent. The 40-year-old also lost a fumbled on the final fourth and goal play on the previous possession.
Rodgers was acquired by the Jets in a blockbuster trade with the Green Bay Packers -- his team for the first 18 years of his career -- in 2023, but suffered a season-ending Achilles injury on the team's opening drive. Rodgers has since gone 3-6 as the Jets' starter in 2024, entering Sunday's game with 2,107 yards, 15 touchdowns and seven interceptions on 197 of 316 passing.
