Lindsay Lohan is working on a "pretty intense" new film, and finally revealed details about the highly-anticipated project in a recent interview with TV host Andy Cohen.
The Mean Girls alum appeared on Watch What Happens Live! With Andy Cohen on Thursday (November 20), and got candid about starring in an upcoming Ann-Margret biopic, referring to the project as "exciting."
"We’re working on the story. It’s exciting, yeah!"
Lohan is slated to play a pivotal role in the biopic, and wants the story to be told exactly how the beloved entertainment icon desires.
"It's gonna be pretty intense. It has to be the way she wants it to be, so I really want it to be special in that way."
The Parent Trap star received the Swedish actress's blessing to take on the lead role in May 2024, per US Weekly. Lohan, honored to tell Margret's story, told Bustle just how much she's looking forward to the challenge.
"She's a triple threat, and she’s an amazing woman on top of that. So I just really want to do her justice and help tell a great story for her."
Ann-Margret rose to fame in the 1960s (per Entertainment Weekly) and went on to win two Oscars and star alongside the likes of Elvis Presley and John Wayne. The standout, now 83, is known for bringing her unmatched acting, singing, and dancing skills to the big screen for a whopping seven decades.
