Cardi B is concerned that the drama from her split with Offset is putting her life in danger.

After the Bronx rapper gave birth to her fourth child earlier this month, Offset reportedly stirred the pot by claiming her and Stefon Diggs' kid is actually his. In an Instagram story he posted on Saturday, November 15, Cardi's estranged husband posted "My kid lol" and quickly deleted it. The post was enough to set off trolls, who cited a Georgia law that allows Offset to claim paternity to his estranged wife's new child. Cardi responded by alleging that Offset still harasses and threatens her despite their ongoing divorce.

"Y'all be thinking it's so funny and it's not," Cardi wrote. "it's been over a year and I'm still being harassed and threatened to the point that I feel like my life in danger.. it's all fun and games until it's too late."

According to Fennell, Briasco & Associates, men "who have fathered children out of wedlock must take the affirmative step of establishing legitimation before the state of Georgia will recognize their paternal rights under state law... Alternatively, when a child is born to a married couple, under Georgia law, the father is automatically recognized as the father and husband." Because Cardi B and Offset are still technically married on paper, fans trolled Bardi and Diggs by claiming Offset could claim the paternity of their newborn child.

"Mf'ers do anything for attention and it could get real nasty with just one upload... LEAVE ME TF ALONE," she added.

Cardi B and Stefon Diggs got together last October, but went public earlier this year. The couple also announced they were expecting their first child — all while Cardi is still involved in a divorce battle with Offset.
