Andy Warhol At The Whitney + Dinner At Old Rose: Erica America's NYC

Hey lovelies,

Hope you had a great weekend, whatever adventures or coziness came your way! I'm on-air at Z100 on the weekends as you know, but I got a chance to have a NYC date with Andy Warhol Friday night! Well, kind of, ha. The Whitney Museum Of American Art has this amazing exhibition with Andy's work, and I actually visited right before it opened a few months ago. So last Friday, I was able to explore his iconic work throughout his career and learn interesting information about him and hthe evolution of his career. I have a LOT of great videos and photos on my Instagram highlights under "Art Life".  I showcased a lot of his most famous work I think you'll enjoy. Think Marilyn Monroe, Campbell's Soup, Chanel, Elvis Presley, Jackie O, and much more.

I really enjoy finding beauitiful, culturally stimulating things to do in New York City, and museums are one of my favorites along with beautiful restaurants and coffee shops with special vibes. I love #WhitneyMuseum because it's a beautiful space with unique American art, and it's not TOO huge so you don't get overwhelmed. About two weeks ago I went to the MOMA, which is also amazing, and saw some great impressionism and surrealism.. and classics like Van Gogh and Matisse!

To cap off the great night, I headed over to The Jane Hotel in The West Village which I love, and had a lovely meal at their restaurant Old Rose which I've been meaning to go to for a while now. The interior is beautiful (posted pics below) both the restaurant and bar/lounge. I'm all about the vibes and energy.. and this place HAS IT. Overall, a great night with my boyfriend, NYC. (I think Carrie Bradshaw said that in Sex And The City.. and we all know I kindddd of think I'm Carrie! ha ha). Check out these sweet local NYC places if you can, and The Whitney while the exhibit is still up!
