In an interview with Taxstone on his "Tax Season" podcast, Rico Love revealed that although he has a big smile and an adorable baby face, Usher is no one to mess with.
The producer was reminiscing about Bobby Brown's 2002 birthday party. It turns out that both Bobby and Usher were drunk when they got into an argument. At first, Usher thought Bobby was just joking around with him. But, things got real when Bobby tried to put Usher in a headlock.
"Usher beat up Bobby Brown, I’m not bullsh**ting you. Bobby Brown was drunk. Usher went to his birthday party in LA. Bobby was drunk, talking some s**t to Ush. Ush thought he was joking. Bobby was dead ass. He started pushing Ush in the chest. And he said, ‘Yeah, lil n**ga," Love recalled.
He continued: "He put his arm around Ush, he put him like in a headlock. Like, 'Yeah n**ga, don’t ever disrespect me, I’m the king. You my son.' Ush kind of like pushed back, two-pieced Bobby Brown, quick. He did it so fast, everybody in the party thought they was play-fighting. Ush don’t f**k around."
