Alex Warren launched an extraordinary year with his new single, "Ordinary," and now, the track has earned him the title of iHeartRadio's newest "On The Verge" artist.
"Ordinary," a heartfelt tribute to Warren's wife, Kouvr, captures the essence of a love that feels anything but ordinary as he sings, "You're takin' me out of the ordinary/ I want you layin' me down 'til we're dead and buried/ On the edge of your knife, stayin' drunk on your vine/ The angels up in the clouds are jealous, knowin' we found."
Released via Atlantic Records in February of this year, "Ordinary" has quickly climbed the charts.
Warren's rise to fame has been meteoric. He first gained widespread attention with his hit single "Before You Leave Me," and his subsequent track, "Burning Down" further solidied his status as a breakout star. Now, with over 1 billion total career streams, Warren continues to captivate audiences worldwide.
In addition to his chart-topping success, Warren is embarking on his largest headline tour to date, the "Cheaper Than Therapy Global Tour." The tour, which began in February, will see Warren performing in 47 cities across Europe and North America, with most dates already sold out. The tour follows the release of his debut album, You’ll Be Alright, Kid (Chapter 1), which has received critical acclaim and features hits like "Carry You Home."
