Euphoria star Sydney Sweeney has been outspoken about the double standards women received over nude scenes.
Sweeney has mentioned that her performance gets “overlooked,” due to her nude scenes, and men who get naked on camera end up with awards and praise.
“There are hour-long compilations of world-famous male actors with nude scenes who win Oscars and get praised for that work. But the moment a woman does it, it degrades them,” Sweeney said to Cosmopolitan.
“There’s such a double standard and I really hope I can have a little part in changing that,” continued The Voyeurs star.
