Police in Summit County, Utah, got calls about a young man walking around the area with a shopping cart for quite some time. Since the cold area doesn’t have many transients, police were able to spot him quickly. They approached the young man outside a gas station as he shivered in the cold temps.
Police offered to bring him into their vehicle to warm up.
After talking to him, they did research and realized he was a teen that was reported missing almost three years ago in northern California.
Connorjack Oswalt, who has autism, went missing in 2019 at the age of 16.
Authorities believe he was a runaway and the details on how he ended up 700 miles away from Cali in Utah are not known.
