Starting today, Instagram will be rolling out a few new features aimed at anti-bullying, anti-abuse, and anti-hate. They explain how their goal is to keep users from viewing posts and comments that are either abusive, racist, sexist and homophobic. One new feature automatically hide comments and message requests from any users who do not follow you. This will also give "an even stronger warning" if someone is attempting to post something that is potentially offensive. It'll also allow users to filter abusive message requests. Instagram explains "We have a responsibility to make sure everyone feels safe when they come to Instagram. We don’t allow hate speech or bullying on Instagram, and we remove it whenever we find it. We also want to protect people from having to experience this abuse in the first place." Read more HERE.
