A Kansas woman was celebrating her birthday with co-workers and one of her gifts was a lottery ticket.
Marsha Silver, of McPherson, says she received a pair of $2 Double Bonus Crossword scratch-off tickets in a birthday card from her co-worker at the realty company.
Upon scratching the ticket, Silver thought she had won $2,000 until she showed the ticket to her husband who pointed out she had missed an “L” while scratching and that brought her winnings to $20,000.
Silver says she will use some of the money to throw an office party and the rest on her family.
