It was revealed earlier this month that Mark Zuckerberg had plans to rebrand and change the iconic "Facebook" name. Well the company just announced that they going forward, Facebook will now be called Meta.
Earlier this month it was revealed that Facebook would be changing its famous name. This Thursday, Mark Zuckerberg has finally announced the new change “Our mission remains the same — it’s still about bringing people together,” Zuckerberg said this morning kicking off Facebook Connect with is their annual conference for AR/CR decelopers and creators. He continued, “But now we have a new North Star, to help bring the Metaverse to life, and we have a new name that reflects the full breadth of what we do and the future that we want to help build.” Below is more info on Metaverse.
