Back in 2014, Kylie Jenner attempted to trademark the name Kylie, to which Kylie Minogue said "I don't think so". As of this week, the case is settled and Kylie Minogue won! Turns out Minogue has multiple trademark rights to the name "Kylie" already and has owned the website kylie.com for 21 years. The court also ruled that Ms. Jenner is just a secondary character in a reality TV show, while Minogue is an international superstar and known for her philanthropy- ouch. Kylie Jenner wants to appeal the ruling in the future and hopes to use the name for her fashion and beauty endeavors.
