Ever since Harry Styles released his debut album, I've had two questions running through my mind:
- In 'Carolina', which Carolina is Harry talking about!?!
- WHO IS 'CAROLINA' ABOUT?
Thankfully, Daily Mail has provided us with these answers. First, Harry was talking about SOUTH Carolina!!! Second, the song is about a college student named Townes Adair Jones!!!!
Townes is a 20-year-old college student at UCLA studying French and Philosophy. She's originally from South Carolina, but she moved to the west coast as Harry says in the song. The friend who leaked this information about her calls her a 'book worm', and is a very private person. Townes has three siblings. One of them, Gilland, appeared on episodes of iCarly, Wizards of Waverley Place, The Suite Life on Deck, and Good Luck Charlie. All in all, the lyrics of 'Carolina' are very literal, and it's so easy to picture Townes now when listening!
