Ed Sheeran made his long-promised debut on Sunday's Game of Thrones season premiere, but Thrones fans were NOT having it. Twitter was buzzing with people pointing out that Ed appeared in the same episode as a montage about poop, while critics later called his performance "painfully unsubtle" and "bizarre." It appears as though Sheeran has had enough of the criticism because on Monday, he deleted his Twitter account with no explanation.
This comes after he recently explained how he barely uses Twitter because of all the hate that he sees on social media. He told The Sun that "one comment ruins your day."
His Instagram still seems to be up and running but who knows if his Twitter will stay deleted and for how long.
