The internet sensation and super successful influencer is feeling the effects of one terrible decision. Following his controversial video, 22-year-old social media star Logan Paul is no longer working with Youtube. If you're unaware of the video I'm talking about, let me sum it up...He visited Aokigahara, a forest at the base of Mt. Fuji which is known as "Japanese Suicide Forest" for the multiple suicides that happen there. While his video cameras were rolling, he and his buddies came across a dead man's body & that footage was included in his vlog that was posted to Youtube.
Needless to say, MILLIONS of his followers on the video sharing site found this to be super insensitive and disturbing. Most of Logan's followers are young kids who are extremely impressionable. Although he posted the video with a disclaimer, many found it to be in very poor taste. He even tried to save face by issuing an apology...
It seems as if it was a little too little too late. Youtube has just decided to part ways with the web celeb. Youtube has also decided to remove Logan Paul from it's Google Preferred program. In a statement, Youtube has said:
"In light of recent events, we have decided to remove Logan Paul’s channels from Google Preferred. Additionally, we will not feature Logan in season 4 of ‘Foursome’ and his new Originals are on hold.”
