Fergie Speaks Out About Her National Anthem Performance

It's not the insane defensive stop at the end of the game. It's not the slam dunk contest or the fact the N.E.R.D. KILLED it during the halftime of the game. All anyone is talking about after NBA All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles is Fergie and her performance of the National Anthem.

The host of The Four: Battle for Stardom and former member of the iconic Black Eyed Peas hit center court before the big game to sing the "Stared Spangled Banner" and it was a bit unique to say the least.

The internet has NO CHILL and those watching immediately had something to say:

Now that the dust has settled a bit, the Grammy Award Winner has apologized. In a statement she said:

"I've always been honored and proud to perform the national anthem and last night I wanted to try something special for the NBA. I'm a risk taker artistically, but clearly this rendition didn't strike the intended tone. I love this country and honestly tried my best."

Now let's keep it all the way 💯...she's WAY BETTER THAN MOST OF US!!!
