It was the game show that EVERY child wanted to be on. You and your best friend came up with team names like the, "Rad Raptors" or "Blue Hawks" all the time!! We all wanted to run through that EPIC obstacle course!! Nickelodeon has heard every 90's baby and is rebooting Double Dare and I can't be more stoked!!!
The show became a hit for Nickelodeon when it first hit TV screens in 1986. Hosted by Marc Summers, it featured two teams battling it out to win prizes by using their brains, testing themselves with "Physical Challenges" and "Double Dares", then after running through the super sloppy obstacle course, you could be heading to space camp or just ending up with TONS of green slime on ya!

According to Hollywood Reporter:
"Nickelodeon has ordered 40 new episodes of the show to premiere in the summer. The network says that the revival will "feature appearances from blasts from the past, longtime Double Dare fans and stars from today" to be announced at a later date."
I've been lucky enough to host a few LIVE versions of the iconic game show...and when I tell you it's the best thing ever, IT'S THE BEST THING EVER!! One of the highlights was when I got to go to San Diego Comic Con & co-host the 30th Anniversary Special w/ Marc Summers himself!!
