New York City always has something fun to do over the weekend! Well, here are our "Z pop 3" picks for this Memorial Day weekend!
1. Solo: A Star Wars Story - Out in theaters now!!
The movie is about Young Han Solo finding adventure when he joins a gang of galactic smugglers, including a 196-year-old Wookie named Chewbacca. Indebted to the gangster Dryden Vos, the crew devises a daring plan to travel to the mining planet of Kessel to steal a batch of valuable coaxium. In need of a fast ship, Solo meets Lando Calrissian, who is the suave owner of the perfect vessel for the dangerous mission -- the Millennium Falcon.
The movie is rated PG-13 so you can totally go enjoy it with your family! It's also a fun idea to go to the movie to stay cool during this warm weekend!!
2. Salute Sailors during Fleet week!
Every year during fleet week active service members from the United States Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard dock in the Hudson River! During this week it give them a break from the demand of their job and gives you a chance to thank them, buy them a drink, make a new friend, or maybe even find the love of your life!
If you want to increase your odds of seeing them while they are here you can check out 'The Campbell' or 'Mr. Purple' where they will be giving uniformed service members a discount!!
3. Hit up 'Ample Hills Creamery' for some Ice cream!
I mean who doesn't like ice cream?! Ample Hills Creamery has some awesome ice cream flavors! Their ice cream is made-from-scratch with a custard base and also made with local eggs and dairy. If you're not craving ice cream you will be once you hear what's in "the Munchies" flavor! It is filled with potato chips, pretzels, Ritz crackers, and mini M&Ms.... YUM!!!!
