Camila Cabello Is 'Rolling Stone's' Newest Covergirl!!

Camila Cabello's interview with 'Rolling Stone' covered just about everything! She talks about Fifth Harmony, 'Havana', Taylor Swift, living the American Dream, being a hugger and so much more!

If you didn't know, Camila is a hugger and she'll just about anybody. Recently, a fan was in the same restaurant as her and had sent over a peach sorbet and a request for a selfie. Well, not only did he get the selfie but he also received a hug!

In the interview they also talked about the fact that Camila Cabello really stood out in Fifth Harmony saying, "Genius, a website that annotates lyrics, found that 45 percent of the lines in Fifth Harmony songs were sung by Cabello. She eventually had more Instagram followers than her group did." On December 19th, the Fifth Harmony Twitter said, "After 4 and a half years of being together, we have been informed via her representatives that Camila has decided to leave Fifth Harmony." Apparently, Camila didn't know that they were sending that tweet! The interview added, "Which doesn't mean that she didn't want to leave, wasn't planning on it and hadn't made her plans clear."

Camila started writing her own songs when she was 16-years-old. She said, "I don't want to give this to any other people because this is about my first kiss. This is about this guy that I have a crush on. This is my story."

In the 'Rolling Stone' interview they talked about Camila living the American Dream. " 'Her goal was always to end up in the United States,' Cabello says of her mother. "When she got pregnant with me, she wanted me to be in a place where there was no ceiling to whatever I wanted to do." Estrabao had been an architect in Cuba but worked at Marshalls in the U.S., using a fake address from an affluent neighborhood so her daughter could attend a top-notch public school an hour and a half away from where they lived. More than a year after Cabello immigrated, her Mexican father swam the Rio Grande to join his family (he finally got his green card in 2016); he earned money by washing cars at a mall."

Camila used to be really shy about sharing her voice with the world. She would wait for her parents to leave the house before she would jam out with her karaoke machine! Cabello also auditioned for her school musicals but said that she didn't want the lead mostly because she was so shy.

When talking about 'Havana' she said, "Nobody wanted to make it a single" adding, "They said that radio would never play it, that it was too slow, too chill." Could you imagine?! What if 'Havana' was never a single?? Well it's a good thing that she pushed for it to become a single because it topped the charts in 23 countries!

She is such a sweet and kindhearted person and we love her a lot! If you wanna read the rest of the interview you can catch it here!

While we're on the topic of the beautiful, Camila Cabello.... did you know that she doesn't have any social media on her phone?! In an interview with 'People' magazine she said, "I try to protect myself as much as I can. I don’t have any social media on my phone" adding, "I have it on my mom’s phone, so if there’s anything I want to say or if I want to read through what my fans are sending me, I can. It has made a world of difference." She also advises that "If it’s right at your fingertips, there’s a huge chance you’re going to come across something that really hurts your feelings. Huge. And it’s impossible to forget it."

You go girl!!
