He's headed home! Kanye West never fails to surprise us...but maybe we should've expected this! Last week he mentioned opening an office for his Yeezy fashion brand. West also talked about possibly reopening the Avalon Regal Theater in South Chicago. Yup, Chicago - his hometown!
West appeared onstage last night at Chance the Rapper's monthly Open Mike event at the Harold Washington Library Center, telling the crowd, “I'm moving back to Chicago, and I'm never leaving again.”
Well, there ya have it folks. It looks like Ye is moving back to Chi-Town! He's got quite the busy month ahead of him! He's kicking off the 44th season of Saturday Night Live as the music guest alongside host Adam Driver.
That's sure to be a great show! Kanye also alluded on Instagram that there is a new album coming soon, YANDHI looks like it's almost here!

As for the move, West didn't say when it would be taking place. We wonder how Kim feels about all this. Will his family be moving with him? Will Kanye keep a residence in Los Angeles and in Chicago? Let us know watch think!
