LeBron James is Joining the "Space Jam" Sequel

It's official!  LeBron James has joined the Space Jam fam!  The upcoming sequel is a continuation of the 1996 film Space Jam which starred basketball icon Michael Jordan.

While few details of the sequel are available, the original film followed Jordan teaming up with the Looney Tunes in a desperate attempt to win a basketball match and earn their freedom.  LeBron sure has some big shoes to fill!

However, the Space Jam sequel isn’t James’ first endeavor into the entertainment industry. His production company launched its first television show on HBO called The Shop, in which he and other athletes, as well as pop cultural figures, talk about issues while getting haircuts at a barbershop.  Looks like James has a busy few months ahead of him!  He signed with the Los Angeles Lakers in July.

Oh, and if all this wasn't already cool enough, it gets better! Ryan Coogler himself, director of "Black Panther", has signed onto the project as a producer!

Ahhhh we are so pumped!  Are you looking forward to the sequel?  Let us know!

While you patiently wait for the movie to come out, please enjoy this iconic LeBron James Vine - you're welcome.
