Alicia Keys, Swizz Beatz and Swizzy's ex-wife Mashonda Tifrere appeared together on Good Morning America in a Michael Strahan interview.
They talked about how they all co-parent Swizz and Mashonda's son Kasseem, Jr. Keys said, "We love each other. I mean, we hang out with each other. We go to dinner together. We're doing Thanksgiving we're doing the holidays. It is a beautiful partnership and that is really, really special. I'm very, very proud of that."
Things weren't always positive with amongst the three. Swizz and Mashonda kept it real about going through an ugly divorce and being unable to successfully co-parent. When Kasseem started acting out, that was a wake-up call for the adults to do better.
Mashonda wrote a book about co-parenting called Blend in which Keys wrote the forward and Swizz contributed to a chapter.
