The internet was literally screaming, "HOLY COW" after video surfaced of this giant bovine! Meet Knickers, he's a 3,000 lbs. cow from Australia! He's a 7 year old steer (a male cattle that's been neutered) and stands an incredible 6 feet, 4 inches tall at the shoulders.
Obviously, everyone is wondering how he got that big, but not even his owner knows the reason!! There hasn't been a proper diagnosis, but some think that it could be an out-of-control growth hormone.
Since Knickers is soooooo big, he won't face the same fate as the others on the farm. There were meet processor who told his owner, Geoff Pearson, that he was too large for the equipment at the slaughterhouse.
"He’s too big for the chain, he’s out of spec," Pearson told The Guardian. "He’d be too heavy for the machines and he’d probably actually be hanging on the floor, so there would be contamination issues, and his cuts of meat would be too large."
