Shawn Mendes Returns to SNL and Debuts New Song

This weekend America's Prince of Pop (sorry Justin) Shawn Mendes returned to Saturday Night Live as musical guest. Shawn had previously made his SNL debut alongside host Emma Stone back in December of 2016 where he performed his hit songs Mercy and Treat You Better. This Saturday, Shawn returned to SNL alongside host Adam Sandler, where he performed two songs and even appeared in a skit for the first time!

First, Shawn gave a show-stopping performance of his newest song If I Can't Have You. After its release the day before, SNL was the first time that Shawn performed the song live - and he KILLED it.

For his second performance, of course Shawn had to perform his hit song In My Blood (I mean, how could he not?)

We also need to talk about that sleeveless shirt that he was wearing. I've included a gallery of photos for your enjoyment. (YOU'RE WELCOME)

Lastly, Shawn even got to show off his acting chops in his first ever SNL skit! It's not often that a musical guest gets to appear in a skit, so I'm so glad Shawn was able to. I mean can we talk about his hair? Shawn, I think you should stick to your luscious locks.
