Bachelorette Contestant Jed Wyatt Ends His Silence On Girlfriend Rumor

Bachelorette contestant Jed Wyatt made a splash early on during Hannah's season of The Bachelorette when he admitted joining the show for the "wrong reasons". Calling himself out for going on the show in an effort to boost his music career, Jed admitted what almost every Bachelor/Bachelorette contestant thinks before arriving at the Bachelor Mansion: the show will bring me an amazing platform.

However, Jed left some crucial details out of his admission - notably, the fact that he also had a country singer-songwriter girlfriend waiting for him in Nashville when he returned from the show's filming! YIKES!

People Magazine broke the story first. In the exclusive, Haley Stevens (Jed's ex) shared that she had dated Jed for four months before he went on the show. She claimed that he expressed wanting to be a major player this season so that he could reap the benefits of the spotlight, such as having his new Instagram followers listen to his music, BUT not go so far as to win Hannah's heart so that he could return to her after the show finished filming. SOUNDS MESSY!

Hayley has been doing a lot of press on the matter, securing interviews with Bachelor correspondent Lauren Zima (girlfriend of longtime Bachelor host Chris Harrison) of Entertainment Tonight and Bobby Bones on The Bobby Bones Show. Jed, however, HAS STAYED SILENT on the matter! That is, until now.

See what he has to say in an Instagram post shared last night (after his hometown date with Hannah aired on ABC) here.

I don't know about you, but I personally don't trust Jed so far. I find it sketchy that he's singing and playing his guitar almost every time he is on camera with Hannah! That being said, I absolutely do not want his family feeling attacked or threatened.

My question for you is: do you feel for Jed and his family or are you already over Jed's time in the spotlight?

I suppose I am curious to hear his side of the story...I guess we'll have to wait until he's out of his contract and can speak freely!
