Liam Payne Calls Ed Sheeran "The World's Best Songwriter"

It's no secret that Liam Payne and Ed Sheeran are tight when it comes to song. The two have gotten together before to write Payne's debut single Strip That Down. Now together again, Sheeran writes Payne's new single Stack It Up ft A Boogie Wit da Hoodie.

"Working with Ed [Sheeran], I just can't believe he still has time to write me songs," jokes Payne on working with Sheeran. He continues saying, "I mean he's such a good guy and for me it's the biggest confidence builder ever, having literally like the world's best song writer in the room, and he still wants to work on my project."

Payne even let us in on the email threads between him and Sheeran talking about the song. "There's a big email trail of us talking about the idea, the song very money-oriented, which for me I was kind of like 'is that really the message I want to send out at this point'?" Him and Sheeran went back and forth talking about the song like that, but ultimately realized this is the story of someone who's trying to stay hungry, and inspire people to work hard.
